Amy Szarenski joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in August 2024. Prior to this role, she spent 15 years as an elementary school teacher at Glenwood School and within Broward County Public Schools. Before her teaching career, Amy served seven years in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Sergeant. Following her military service, she dedicated time as a stay-at-home mom before returning to the workforce.
Amy understands firsthand the unique challenges and opportunities associated with military life and is passionate about helping service members and their families build strong financial futures.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Columbus State University and an associate’s degree in General Studies with a concentration in Business from Troy State University. Amy also holds Series 6, 63, and 65 securities licenses, along with life and health insurance licenses in Florida, Alabama, and Washington.
Amy is committed to coaching clients as they pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by providing sound financial guidance and building lasting relationships with the individuals and families she serves.
Active in the community, Amy is a member of the Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Coral Springs, the American Legion, and the Veterans Coalition of Coral Springs.
In her free time, Amy enjoys scuba diving, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
